Adés i ara les daines venien repicant
al damunt d'Oklahoma.
Un gat de foc s'eriçà en el camí.
Onsevulga que anaven
anaven repicant
fins que s'esmunyien
fent una suau línia circular
cap a la dreta,
per culpa del gat de foc.
O bé fins que s'esmunyien
fent una suau línia circular
cap a l'esquerra
per culpa del gat de foc.
Les daines repicaren,
el gat de foc rebotava
a mà dreta i a mà esquerra
i
s'eriçà en el camí.
Al remat, el gat de foc va cloure els ulls lluents
i s'abaltí.
